Yes, this is an all-original '57 Belair. Coronado Yellow & India Ivory 2-tone exterior with Black & silver interior. Original paint & interior. Original almost everything. 283 power pack with auto transmission. Real 78,000 miles.
Purchased new by a gent in '57. He passed away in '72 & the car (done approx 71,000 miles) was parked up by his widow. In '83 it was found & purchased by the prior owner Brad & his Dad. They had the 283 engine freshened up after sitting so long. The PowerGlide was rebuilt a year ago. This is an original paint, original interior time-warp car. Built in Oakland California & sold new in at Eastham Chevrolet in Ephrata in the dry eastern desert of Washington State. Yip, thin polished out paint & front seat upholstery blowing out. Badges of honour only gained over time. This is a much loved car that deserves an equally loving home in NZ.
