This car had sat a very long time & it's matching numbers 396 needed some love. We have just had the 396 rebuilt by NZ craftsmen. Machining by one of NZ's leading machine shops. Assembled by a renown engine builder. No shortcuts taken. Full spec sheet available. Not some cheap half pie job. Yes, its partial VIN stamping is still intact. Big dollar build. Excellent body with all original sheetmetal, original paint with touch ups. Hand painted pin stripes.
Runs & drives awesome. So much nicer to drive than a baby 283 / Powerglide car. Lots of power & super smooth.
Original seat upholstery fabric inserts are blown out from age & want redo. New headliner & vinyl top. Our intention is to col our the vinyl top to black. Maybe that should be the new owners call?
